virtual bike-run races

5-week series starting from 5 april

cycling virtual events esports eracing

how does it work?

  1. The bike leg starts at 10am GMT on the allotted date and is raced over a course on Training Peaks Virtual
  2. Each participant then has 7-minutes from completing the bike leg to start the run leg
  3. The run leg will either be a 3k or 5k run and can be performed indoors or outdoors but must be tracked and uploaded to Strava
  4. Once a participant has completed the bike and run, to be included in the standings, they must upload their run results, along with a screenshot of the Strava activity, using the questionnaire below

Important rules

  • There will be a time based general classification, which does not take account of transition times. Everyone has 7-minutes to move from the bike to the run.
  • However, if your run activity starts more than 7-minutes after the finish of your bike leg, an equivalent amount of time will be added to your run.
  • All participants must join and race the V-Duathlon event on Training Peaks Virtual for their bike times to be accepted.
  • Please note, some of the bike legs will be draft legal and some will be individual time trials (drafting turned off). This is noted in the events calendar below.
  • Alongside entering your run result into the questionnaire below, the screenshot of your Strava run activity must display the following: 1. Time started, distance, average pace and moving time. It should therefore look like the image below.
